THE INCOME TO BE APPLIED UPON TRUST 1. TO FURTHER THE EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES OF THE UNIVERSITY BY PROVINDING OR ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF BUILDINGS EQUIPMENT OR FACILITIES. 2. TO ADVANCE EDUCATION BY PROVIDING FOR THE BENEFIT OF ANY STUDENT (PAST OR PRESENT) SCHOLARSHIPS, TRAVEL AWARDS, PRIZES FOR OUTSTANDING ACADEMIC SPORTING ACHIEVEMENT. 3. THE ADVANCE EDUCATION IN OTHER WAYS AMONG PERSONS WHO ARE OR WHO HAVE BEEN RESIDENT AT THE UNIVERSITY. TO RELIEVE PERSONS OR THEIR IMMEDIATE FAMILY WHO ARE OR HAVE BEEN EMPLOYED OR RESIDENT AT THE UNIVERSITY WHO ARE IN CONDITIONS OF NEED, HARDSHIP OR DISTRESS.
