Activities - how the charity spends its money
The Centre@Cantley operates mainly as Cantley Community Library providing the loan of books, DVDs for the community along with a suite of computers for the public to use. We provide photocopying, printing and scanning. We provide childrens activities in the school holidays, run a weekly 'Knit & Natter session and have received grants to enable us to run 'Tea & Tech' sessions for the elderly.

Charitable objects
TO PROMOTE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC IN THE DISTRICT OF CANTLEY, COUNTY OF SOUTH YORKSHIRE AND ELSEWHERE ("THE AREA OF BENEFIT") WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF SEX, SEXUAL ORIENTATION, RACE OR OF POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINION BY ASSOCIATING TOGETHER THE SAID RESIDENTS AND LOCAL AUTHORITIES, VOLUNTARY AND OTHER ORGANISATIONS IN A COMMON EFFORT TO ADVANCE EDUCATION AND TO PROVIDE FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE AND FOR RECREATION AND LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION WITH THE OBJECTIVE OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE RESIDENTS. THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, BY THE PROVISION OF A COMMUNITY LENDING LIBRARY AND ASSOCIATED SERVICES. TO PROMOTE SOCIAL INCLUSION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT BY PREVENTING PEOPLE FROM BECOMING SOCIALLY EXCLUDED, RELIEVING THE NEEDS OF THOSE PEOPLE WHO ARE SOCIALLY EXCLUDED AND ASSISTING THEM TO INTEGRATE INTO SOCIETY.
