Charitable objects
3.1 THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT: 3.1.1 THE ADVANCEMENT OF HEALTH THROUGH: (A) THE PROVISION OF SERVICES AND FACILITIES TO OR FOR THE BENEFIT OF THOSE UP TO AND INCLUDING 30 YEARS OF AGE WHO ARE SUFFERING FROM ANY FORM OF DISABILITY TOGETHER WITH THEIR FAMILIES, DEPENDANTS AND CARERS, OR THE PROVISION OF FUNDS TO SUPPORT SUCH SERVICES AND ACTIVITIES, WITHIN THE AREA OF RICHMONDSHIRE IN THE COUNTY OF NORTH YORKSHIRE; AND (B) THE PROVISION OF GRANTS TO ATAXIA UK (CHARITY NUMBER 1102391) (AS THAT CHARITY SHALL FROM TIME TO TIME BE KNOWN AND AS MERGED OR AMALGAMATED FROM TIME TO TIME) FOR THE PURPOSE OF WORKING TOWARDS FINDING A CURE FOR FRIEDREICH'S ATAXIA; AND 3.1.2 THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION THROUGH: (A) RAISING AWARENESS OF DISABILITY AMONGST THE GENERAL PUBLIC, INCLUDING DISABILITY RIGHTS AND THE CHALLENGES FACED BY THOSE WITH DISABILITIES, WITHIN THE AREA OF RICHMONDSHIRE IN THE COUNTY OF NORTH YORKSHIRE; AND (B) THE PROVISION OF GRANTS TO SUPPORT THE EDUCATION AND ACCESS TO EDUCATION OF ANY INDIVIDUAL UP TO AND INCLUDING 30 YEARS OF AGE WHO HAS ANY FORM OF DISABILITY, WHO ORDINARILY RESIDES WITHIN THE AREA OF RICHMONDSHIRE IN THE COUNTY OF NORTH YORKSHIRE
