Charitable objects
THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE: (1) TO ADVANCE THE CHRISTIAN FAITH FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE STATEMENT OF BELIEFS IN SUCH WAYS AND IN SUCH PARTS OF THE UNITED KINGDOM AS THE TRUSTEES FROM TIME TO TIME MAY THINK FIT INCLUDING PROMOTING AN UNDERSTANDING OF EQUAL TREATMENT OF ALL; (2) THE RELIEF OF SICKNESS AND POVERTY OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC BY PROVIDING: GOODS TO INDIVIDUALS IN NEED, WHICH THEY COULD NOT OTHERWISE AFFORD THROUGH LACK OF MEANS, AND TO CHARITIES OR OTHER ORGANISATIONS WORKING TO PREVENT OR RELIEVE POVERTY; (3) TO HELP YOUNG PEOPLE THROUGH LEISURE TIME ACTIVITIES TO DEVELOP THEIR CAPABILITIES THAT THEY MAY GROW TO FULL MATURITY AS INDIVIDUALS AND MEMBERS OF SOCIETY; (4) THE TRUSTEES MUST USE THE INCOME AND MAY USE THE CAPITAL OF THE CHURCH IN PROMOTING THE OBJECTS
