Activities - how the charity spends its money
Relieving the suffering of turtles in need of care and attention by providing and maintaining rescue homes and other facilities for their reception care and treatment. The Charity operates out of retail premises in Langley Moor Durham where some of the turtles are housed. This enables us to raise awareness and educate members of the public about their welfare. The shop raises funds

THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE: - FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC TO RELIEVE THE SUFFERING OF TURTLES IN NEED OF CARE AND ATTENTION AND, IN PARTICULAR, TO PROVIDE AND MAINTAIN RESCUE HOMES AND OTHER FACILITIES FOR THE RECEPTION, CARE AND TREATMENT OF SUCH ANIMALS; - TO PROMOTE HUMANE BEHAVIOUR TOWARDS TURTLES BY PROVIDING APPROPRIATE CARE, PROTECTION, TREATMENT AND SECURITY FOR TURTLES WHICH ARE IN NEED OF CARE AND ATTENTION BY REASON OF SICKNESS, MALTREATMENT, POOR CIRCUMSTANCES OR ILL USAGE AND TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC IN MATTERS PERTAINING TO ANIMAL WELFARE IN GENERAL AND IN PARTICULAR THE PREVENTION OF CRUELTY AND SUFFERING AMONG TURTLES.
