THE OBJECT[S] OF THE CIO ARE - TO ADVANCE THE HEALTH OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC IN ALL ASPECTS RELATING TO THE MANAGEMENT OF HIDRADENITIS SUPPURATIVA BY SUCH MEANS AS THE TRUSTEES DEEM APPROPRIATE, INCLUDING THE PROMOTION OF, AND FUNDING OF RESEARCH; AND -TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION AND AWARENESS OF THE PUBLIC AND MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS IN ALL ASPECTS OF HIDRADENITIS SUPPURATIVA CARE, AND THE PROVISION OF RESOURCES, SUPPORT AND OTHER SERVICES THAT PROMOTE AND IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LIFE FOR HIDRADENITIS SUPPURATIVA PATIENTS THROUGHOUT THE WORLD. NOTHING IN THIS CONSTITUTION SHALL AUTHORISE AN APPLICATION OF THE PROPERTY OF THE CIO FOR THE PURPOSES WHICH ARE NOT CHARITABLE IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 7 OF THE CHARITIES AND TRUSTEE INVESTMENT (SCOTLAND) ACT 2005]AND [SECTION 2 OF THE CHARITIES ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 2008].
