Activities - how the charity spends its money
RSVH is a recently renovated, flexible venue available for hire for community activities, events, classes, conferences, theatre, film, celebrations and parties. Our Main Hall accommodates 120 people, We offer a stage, audio-visual system and professional stage lighting. Our Hub is for meetings, conferences and smaller community groups. We also have a fantastic outdoor community space.

Charitable objects
(A) TO PROMOTE THE BENEFIT PRIMARILY BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY OF THE INHABITANTS OF READ AND SIMONSTONE AND THE SURROUNDING AREA IN THE COUNTY OF LANCASHIRE WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF SEX, SEXUAL ORIENTATION, RACE OR OF POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS OR THE OPINIONS, BY ASSOCIATING TOGETHER THE SAID INHABITANTS AND THE LOCAL AUTHORITIES, VOLUNTARY AND OTHER ORGANISATIONS IN A COMMON EFFORT TO ADVANCE EDUCATION AND TO PROVIDE FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RECREATION AND LEISURE-TIME OCCUPATION WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE SAID INHABITANTS; (B) TO ESTABLISH, OR SECURE THE ESTABLISHMENT OF, A VILLAGE HALL AND TO MAINTAIN AND MANAGE THE SAME (WHETHER ALONE OR IN CO-OPERATION WITH ANY LOCAL AUTHORITY OR OTHER PERSON OR BODY) IN FURTHERANCE OF THESE OBJECTS; AND (C) TO PROMOTE SUCH OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSES AS MAY FROM TIME TO TIME BE DETERMINED.
