Activities - how the charity spends its money
The St Albans Half Marathon is an annual running event offering a Half Marathon, Walking Half, Wheelchair Half, 5k and Fun Run. The event looks to bring together the local community and local businesses. Our main benefiting charities are donated free entry spaces to help fundraising and we make monetary donations to approximately 50 marshal groups yearly.

1) THE PROMOTION OF COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION IN HEALTHY RECREATION FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF ST ALBANS AND THE SURROUNDING AREA BY THE PROVISION OF A HALF MARATHON, FUN RUN AND SUCH OTHER SPORTS AS THE TRUSTEES MAY IN THEIR ABSOLUTE DISCRETION DEEM APPROPRIATE. 2) TO SUPPORT SUCH GENERAL CHARITABLE PURPOSES AS THE TRUSTEES IN THEIR ABSOLUTE DISCRETION MAY DETERMINE BY THE PROVISION OF GRANTS IN ST ALBANS AND THE SURROUNDING AREA.
