THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE THE FURTHERANCE AND PURSUANCE OF CHARITABLE PURPOSES, PROVIDING HISTORICAL EDUCATION TO LOCAL RESIDENTS AND TOURISTS TO WITHERNSEA AND THE SURROUNDING AREA THROUGH EXHIBITIONS WITHIN THE MUSEUM AND TOURS OF THE WITHERNSEA LIGHTHOUSE. THE CIO COLLECTS RECORDS AND MEMORABILIA TO PRESERVE LOCAL AND MARITIME HISTORY OF THE AREA.
