THE CHARITY'S OBJECTS ('OBJECTS') ARE SPECIFICALLY RESTRICTED TO THE FOLLOWING: FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, TO ADVANCE EDUCATION IN THE ART OF CONTEMPORARY POETRY, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY AWARDING A BIANNUAL PRIZE TO BE KNOWN AS THE WOMEN POETS' PRIZE TO WOMEN POETS WHO ARE BRITISH NATIONALS OR RESIDENT IN GREAT BRITAIN AND NORTHERN IRELAND.
