TO RELIEVE THE DISTRESS AND SUFFERING OF PATIENTS, PARTICULARLY CHILDREN, ATTENDING OR ADMITTED TO ACCIDENT AND EMERGENCY UNITS AT HOSPITALS, OR THE ASSOCIATED EMERGENCY SERVICES, BY PROVIDING SUCH EQUIPMENT, FACILITIES, AND AMENITIES WHICH ARE NOT NORMALLY PROVIDED BY THE STATUTORY AUTHORITIES. THE CHARITY SHALL OPERATE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREAS: CITY AND COUNTY OF CARDIFF; CITY AND COUNTY OF SWANSEA; NEATH PORT TALBOT COUNTY BOROUGH; BRIDGEND COUNTY BOROUGH; RHONDDA CYNON TAFF COUNTY BOROUGH; MERTHYR TYDFIL COUNTY BOROUGH; CAERPHILLY COUNTY BOROUGH; VALE OF GLAMORGAN; AND POWYS.
