TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF REGISTERED PUPILS AT COED Y LAN COMPREHENSIVE SCHOOL, PONTYPRIDD OR ITS SUCCESSOR BY THE AWARD OF AN ANNUAL PRIZE TO THE PUPIL CONSIDERED BY THE HEADMASTER TO HAVE ATTAINED THE HIGHEST STANDARD IN ART, WHICH WOULD INCLUDE THE REPRESENTATIONAL ARTS AND PAINTING, DRAWING, SCULPTURE AND THE HISTORY OF ART.
