THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE: TO PROMOTE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC THE CONSERVATION, PROTECTION AND IMPROVEMENT OF THE PHYSICAL AND NATURAL ENVIRONMENT OF THE PARISHES OF SOUTH HUISH AND MALBOROUGH, DEVON, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE VILLAGE AND HARBOUR OF HOPE COVE BY; MAKING GRANTS FOR THE ADVANCEMENT AND PRESERVATION OF HISTORIC LAND AND BUILDINGS; AND PROMOTING THE PRESERVATION OF THE CULTURE AND HERITAGE OF THE PARISHES OF SOUTH HUISH AND MALBOROUGH. AND TO ADVANCE SUCH CHARITABLE PURPOSES (ACCORDING TO THE LAW OF ENGLAND AND WALES) AS THE TRUSTEES SEE FIT FROM TIME TO TIME IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE PARISHES OF SOUTH HUISH AND MALBOROUGH, DEVON.
