Activities - how the charity spends its money
The society promotes six concerts a year with established and emerging artists, performing at venues in the Rochdale area. Educational events also take place. Our artistic objective is to promote a variety of musical styles, but mainly chamber music, aiming to stimulate interest within all age groups.

TO PROMOTE, IMPROVE, DEVELOP AND MAINTAIN PUBLIC EDUCATION IN AND APPRECIATION OF THE ART AND SCIENCE OF MUSIC IN ALL ITS ASPECTS BY THE PRESENTATION WITHIN THE BOROUGH OF ROCHDALE OF PUBLIC CONCERTS AND RECITALS AND IN SUCH OTHER WAYS AS THE SOCIETY THROUGH ITS COMMITTEE SHALL DETERMINE FROM TIME TO TIME.
