Charitable objects
THE AIM OF THE PTA IS TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUPILS OF THE SCHOOL. THIS INCLUDES: DEVELOPING EFFECTIVE RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN THE STAFF, PARENTS AND OTHERS ASSOCIATED WITH THE SCHOOL ENGAGING IN ACTIVITIES TO RAISE FUNDS OR PROVIDING EQUIPMENT OR FACILITIES WHICH ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUPILS CONSIDERING APPLICATIONS FOR FUNDS PUT TO THE PTA FROM PARENTS, GUARDIANS AND CARERS OF PUPILS, TEACHERS, SCHOOL COUNCIL (PUPILS) ETC. AND GRANTING FUNDS TO SUPPORT APPLICATIONS WHERE THE REQUEST IS IN LINE WITH THE AIMS OF THE PTA AND THE REQUEST IS APPROVED BY MAJORITY AT A COMMITTEE MEETING (CLAUSE 6).
