Charitable objects

1. THE RELIEF OF EX-GURKHAS AND THEIR FAMILIES WHO ARE IN CONDITIONS OF NEED, HARDSHIP OR DISTRESS IN THE UK OR NEPAL, BY REASON OF THEIR YOUTH, AGE, ILL-HEALTH, DISABILITY, FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OR OTHER DISADVANTAGE IN SUCH WAYS AS SHALL BE THOUGHT FIT. 2. TO PROVIDE SUCH GRANTS, DONATIONS AND SUPPORT FOR THE CHARITABLE WORK OF THE GURKHA MEMORIAL TRUST NEPAL, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, TO SUPPORT THE BUILDING AND MAINTENANCE OF A GURKHA CEMETERY TO COMMEMORATE THOSE WHO LOST THEIR LIVES IN WARS FIGHTING FOR THE BRITISH SOVEREIGN.
