Charitable objects
1. TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF YOUNG PEOPLE RESIDENT IN INDIA BY AWARDING CERTAIN SUCH PERSONS SCHOLARSHIPS TO COMPLETE POSTGRADUATE COURSES AT LEADING ACADEMIC INSTITUTIONS, FINANCIAL GRANTS TO FACILITATE THEIR PARTICIPATION IN RESIDENCY PROGRAMS AT LEADING ART INSTITUTIONS AND THE AWARDING OF BOTH AD HOC AND ANNUAL PRIZES. 2. TO ADVANCE IN LIFE YOUNG PEOPLE RESIDENT IN INDIA THROUGH PROVIDING SUPPORT AND ACTIVITIES WHICH DEVELOP THEIR SKILLS, CAPACITIES AND CAPABILITIES TO ENABLE THEM TO PARTICIPATE IN SOCIETY AS MATURE AND RESPONSIBLE INDIVIDUALS, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, BY PROVIDING FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO HELP THEM PARTICIPATE IN PROJECTS AND INITIATIVES THAT, IN THE VIEW OF THE CHARITY TRUSTEES, ARE CAPABLE OF DEMONSTRATING WIDER PUBLIC BENEFIT. 3. FOR SUCH OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSES AS THE CHARITY TRUSTEES MAY FROM TIME TO TIME DECIDE BY THE MAKING OF GRANTS TO NON-PROFIT ORGANISATIONS OPERATING IN INDIA FOR PURPOSES RECOGNISED AS CHARITABLE UNDER THE LAW OF ENGLAND AND WALES, IN PARTICULAR, BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, SUPPORTING PROJECTS AND INITIATIVES FOR CURING DISEASE AND DISABLEMENT, RELIEVING SICKNESS AND PRESERVING THE HEALTH OF PEOPLE IN INDIA, PARTICULARLY YOUNG PEOPLE. IN EACH CASE ‘YOUNG PEOPLE’ IS DEFINED AS PEOPLE AGED THIRTY YEARS OR LESS.
