The Friends of Gladstone Park organise activities to encourage interest in and use of the park such as expert-led walks and group activities. Additionally, there is a weekly gardening group whereby volunteers help to maintain the park, in particular the walled garden.

ADVANCING EDUCATION INTO THE HISTORY AND OTHER ASPECTS OF THE PARK B. PROVIDING OR ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR RECREATION AND OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE INHABITANTS OF THE AREA C.
