EXPECT Youth seeks to enable and convene a rich youth offer, providing opportunities for young people to engage in open-access activities, partake in social action and enterprise, and support those who need more targeted intervention. The overarching purpose is to improve the lives and opportunities of children and young people aged between 5 and 25 in the Doncaster and South Yorkshire area.

Charitable objects
THE CHARITY'S OBJECTS (OBJECTS) ARE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC GENERALLY AND, IN PARTICULAR, THE INHABITANTS OF DONCASTER, SOUTH YORKSHIRE AND ITS SURROUNDING AREAS: 1.1 TO ADVANCE PUBLIC EDUCATION WITH A FOCUS ON CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE, (IN PARTICULAR BUT WITHOUT LIMITATION) BETWEEN: 1.1.1 THE AGES OF 5 AND 19 YEARS OLD; AND 1.1.2 UP TO THE AGE OF 25 YEARS IN RELATION TO YOUNG PEOPLE WITH SPECIAL EDUCATIONAL NEEDS AND DISABILITIES BY SUCH MEANS AS THE TRUSTEES THINK FIT; 1.2 TO PROVIDE AND ASSIST IN PROVIDING FACILITIES FOR SPORT, RECREATION OR OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION OF SUCH PERSONS WHO HAVE NEED FOR SUCH FACILITIES BY REASON OF THEIR YOUTH, AGE OR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE AND WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE; 1.3 TO PROMOTE COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION IN HEALTHY RECREATION BY PROVIDING FACILITIES FOR THE PLAYING OF SPORTS CAPABLE OF IMPROVING HEALTH (FACILITIES IN THIS ARTICLE 3 MEANS LAND, BUILDINGS, EQUIPMENT AND ORGANISING SPORTING ACTIVITIES); AND 1.4 FOR THE GENERAL PURPOSES OF SUCH CHARITABLE BODIES OR FOR SUCH OTHER EXCLUSIVELY CHARITABLE PURPOSES IN EACH CASE AS THE TRUSTEES MAY FROM TIME TO TIME DECIDE.
