THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE: TO PROMOTE AND PROTECT GOOD HEALTH AMONG MEMBERS OF THE BME COMMUNITIES IN MIDDLESBOROUGH, AND PARTICULARLY BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY AMONG MALE MEMBERS OF SUCH COMMUNITIES, BY THE PROVISION OF INFORMATION, ADVICE, SUPPORT SERVICES, MENTORING, THERAPIES AND ACTIVITIES WHICH PROMOTE AWARENESS OF ETHNIC HEALTH RISKS AND HEALTHY LIFESTYLES AND SUPPORT THE BETTER MANAGEMENT AND CARE OF LONG TERM AND CHRONIC HEALTH CONDITIONS.
