Charitable objects
1) TO HELP RELIEVE PERSONS SUFFERING FROM MENTAL AND EMOTIONAL PROBLEMS AMONG ALL INHABITANTS OF THE NORTH WEST AREA OF ENGLAND AND IN PARTICULAR ENSURE EQUALITY OF ACCESS TO PERSONS IN NEED OF HELP AND GUIDANCE AND FOR THIS PURPOSE BUT NOT OTHERWISE TO ESTABLISH, MAINTAIN AND DEVELOP A COUNSELLING AND INFORMATION SERVICE. 2) TO PROMOTE AND PROVIDE EDUCATION AND TRAINING FOR COUNSELLORS WORKING IN EITHER PROFESSIONAL OR VOLUNTARY SETTINGS, WHETHER FULL OR PART TIME, WITH A VIEW TO RAISING THE STANDARDS OF COUNSELLING FOR THE BENEFIT OF ALL IN THE COMMUNITY AND IN PARTICULAR THOSE WHO ARE RECIPIENTS OF COUNSELLING.
