Charitable objects
THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE: (1) TO ADVANCE IN LIFE AND RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE LIVING IN THE LONDON BOROUGH OF BROMLEY, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY: (A) MAKING GRANTS TO INDIVIDUALS IN NEED AND/OR CHARITIES, OR OTHER ORGANISATIONS WORKING TO PREVENT OR PROTECT CHILDREN FROM ABUSE OR RELIEVE POVERTY; (B) PROVIDING OR ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF SUPPORT, SERVICES AND FACILITIES THAT WILL HELP TO DEVELOP THEIR SKILLS, CAPACITIES AND CAPABILITIES TO ENABLE THEM TO PARTICIPATE IN SOCIETY AS MATURE AND RESPONSIBLE INDIVIDUALS AND MEMBERS OF SOCIETY. (2) TO DEVELOP THE CAPACITY AND SKILLS OF MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY IN THE LONDON BOROUGH OF BROMLEY IN SUCH A WAY THAT THEY ARE BETTER ABLE TO IDENTIFY, AND HELP MEET, THEIR NEEDS AND TO PARTICIPATE MORE FULLY IN SOCIETY AND TO PROVIDE FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RECREATION AND LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION WITH THE OBJECTIVE OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE OF THE RESIDENTS.
