Charitable objects
THE OBJECTS OF THE CHARITY ARE THROUGHOUT THE WORLD AND MORE PARTICULARLY IN LONDON AND IN THE UNITED KINGDOM: (A) THE ADVANCEMENT OF GENERAL EDUCATION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT CONCERNING ALL FORMS OF USEFUL KNOWLEDGE; (B) THE PROVISION OF RECREATIONAL FACILITIES AND ACTIVITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THOSE PERSONS IN NEED OF SUCH FACILITIES AND ACTIVITIES BY REASON OF THEIR YOUTH, AGE INFIRMITY OR DISABILITY, FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OR SOCIAL CIRCUMSTANCES; (C) THE RELIEF OF POVERTY, SICKNESS AND SUFFERING OF ANY PERSONS WHO ARE IN NEED IRRESPECTIVE OF THEIR NATIONALITY, RACE, ETHNIC ORIGIN, GENDER AND RELIGIOUS BELIEFS; (D) THE ADVANCEMENT OF RELIGIOUS AND RACIAL HARMONY FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC BY: (I) PROMOTING KNOWLEDGE OF AND MUTUAL UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN DIFFERENT RELIGIOUS AND RACIAL GROUPS; (II) ADVANCING EDUCATION AND RAISING AWARENESS ABOUT DIFFERENT RELIGIOUS AND RACIAL GROUPS IN ORDER TO PROMOTE GOOD RELATIONS BETWEEN PERSONS BELONGING TO DIFFERENT RELIGIOUS AND RACIAL GROUPS; (III) WORKING TOWARDS THE ELIMINATION OF DISCRIMINATION ON THE GROUNDS OF RELIGION AND RACE; (E) THE PROMOTION OF EQUALITY AND DIVERSITY BY THE ELIMINATION OF DISCRIMINATION ON THE GROUNDS OF AGE, GENDER OR SEXUAL ORIENTATION; AND (F) THE ADVANCEMENT OF SUCH OTHER CHARITABLE OBJECTS FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT (ACCORDING TO THE LAW OF ENGLAND AND WALES) AS THE CHARITY TRUSTEES MAY FROM TIME TO TIME THINK FIT.
