THE PROVISION OF AN ALMSHOUSE FOR POOR PEOPLE BORN IN THE AREA OF THE VALLET WARD OF THE BOROUGH OF NORTH TYNESIDE AND THE NEWBURN WARD OF THE CITY OF NEWCASTLE UPON TYNE, BOTH IN THE COUNTY OF TYNE AND WEAR AND THE PARISH OF SHILBOTTLE IN THE COUNTY OF NORTHUMBERLAND OR HAVE RESIDED THEREIN FOR NOT LESS THAN TEN YEARS AND WHO ARE EITHER AGED NOT LESS THAN SIXTY YEARS OR WHO HAVE HAD THE ABILITY TO GAIN A LIVELIHOOD DESTROYED OR IMPAIRED BY DISEASE OR OTHERWISE.
