TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF BEREAVED PEOPLE IN BIRMINGHAM WHO LACK THE FINANCIAL MEANS TO MEET THE COSTS OF FUNERAL EXPENSES BY THE PROVISION OF GRANTS OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO ASSIST WITH SUCH COSTS.
