Activities - how the charity spends its money
Sarac is the only specialist sexual abuse and rape advice Centre covering the area of East Staffordshire and South Derbyshire having served the area for 30 years. We aim to help all those affected by offering a confidential service that aims to relieve mental distress through advice and counselling assistance. Anyone, who is 11 years plus can refer to SARAC.

TO RELIEVE THE MENTAL AND PHYSICAL DISTRESS OF ANY PERSON WITHIN STAFFORDSHIRE AND DERBYSHIRE WHO HAVE BEEN SUBJECT TO ANY DEGREE OF SEXUAL ABUSE, COERCION OR HARASSMENT THROUGH THE PROVISION OF ADVICE, COUNSELLING, ASSISTANCE AND OTHER SUPPORT SERVICES; AND TO PROMOTE EDUCATION IN STAFFORDSHIRE AND DERBYSHIRE BY RAISING AWARENESS IN MATTERS RELATING TO SEXUAL VIOLENCE AND ITS IMPACT ON INDIVIDUALS AND THE COMMUNITY IN RESPECT OF PSYCHOLOGICAL, SOCIAL, ECONOMIC AND CULTURAL CONSIDERATIONS.
