Charitable objects
The promotion of religious harmony for the benefit of the public by: (a) educating the public in different religious beliefs including an awareness of their distinctive features and their common ground to promote good relations between persons of different faiths; (b) promoting knowledge and mutual understanding and respect of the beliefs and practices of different religious faiths. To further or benefit the residents of Stoke on Trent and especially the neighbourhood around, without distinction of sex, sexual orientation, race or of political, religious or other opinions by associating together the said residents and the local authorities, voluntary and other organisations in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation with the objective of improving the conditions of life for the residents. The prevention or relief of poverty in Stoke on Trent and the neighbourhood around by providing: grants, items and services to individuals in need and/or charities, or other organisations working to prevent or relieve poverty.
