FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES WITHIN NORTH TYNESIDE AND SURROUNDING AREAS AND THEIR FAMILIES AND CARERS WHO ARE AFFECTED BY THEIR DISABILITY AND ELDERLY PEOPLE IN NEED DUE TO THEIR AGE OR INFIRMITY BY PROVIDING ADVICE AND PRACTICAL SUPPORT, ACTIVITIES AND SERVICES DESIGNED TO ADVANCE THEIR EDUCATION AND BY PROVIDING FACILITIES FOR RECREATION OR OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE AND WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE.
