THE SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA, PHILOMUSICA OF ABERYSTWYTH, WAS STARTED IN 1973 FOR UNIVERSITY STUDENTS, HIGH ABILITY SCHOOL PUPILS AND MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY. IT REHEARSES ONCE A WEEK FOR THE TWO CONCERTS A YEAR THAT ARE PERFORMED IN THE ARTS CENTRE.
