To relieve the suffering and emotional distress amongst parents and families resident in the London Boroughs of Croydon, Sutton, Merton, Wandsworth, Richmond, Kingston, Lambeth, Lewisham and Southwark, who have experienced the loss of a baby either before, at birth or shortly after birth, in particular but not exclusively by supporting such parents and families with small expenses.

THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS: TO RELIEVE THE SUFFERING AND EMOTIONAL DISTRESS AMONGST PARENTS AND FAMILIES RESIDENT IN THE LONDON BOROUGHS OF CROYDON, SUTTON, MERTON, WANDSWORTH, RICHMOND, KINGSTON, LAMBETH, LEWISHAM AND SOUTHWARK, WHO HAVE EXPERIENCED THE LOSS OF A BABY EITHER AT BIRTH OR SHORTLY AFTER BIRTH, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY SUPPORTING SUCH PARENTS AND FAMILIES WITH SMALL EXPENSES INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO TRAVEL EXPENSES, ADDITIONAL FUNERAL COSTS, MEMORIAL PLAQUES, FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR LOSS OF SALARY, ADDITIONAL CHILDCARE COSTS FOR SIBLINGS WITH THE INTENTION OF LIFTING SOME OF THE UNEXPECTED FINANCIAL BURDEN FOLLOWING THE DEATH OF A BABY.
