Moorland Road Community Library (Bath) operates and manages a lending library and associated facilities for the people in the area of Moorland Road, Bath. The library is currently run and operated by the local Council but as of April 2019 it will be adopted by this community based charity. It will maintain as much of the existing services as possible and will be operated exclusively by volunteers.

(1) THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, IN THE AREA OF MOORLAND ROAD, BATH AND THE SURROUNDING AREA, BY THE PROVISION OF A COMMUNITY LENDING LIBRARY AND ASSOCIATED SERVICES (2)) THE PROMOTION FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, IN THE MOORLAND ROAD AREA OF BATH AND THE SURROUNDING AREA, WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF SEX, SEXUAL ORIENTATION, RACE OR OF POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINION, BY ASSOCIATING TOGETHER THE SAID RESIDENTS AND LOCAL AUTHORITIES, VOLUNTARY AND OTHER ORGANISATIONS, IN A COMMON EFFORT TO ADVANCE EDUCATION AND TO PROVIDE FACILITIES IN THE INTEREST OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RECREATION AND LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION WITH THE OBJECTIVE OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE RESIDENTS
