THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS THE RELIEF OF POVERTY BY THE PROVISION OF FREE LEGAL ADVICE AND ASSISTANCE TO PERSONS WHO, THROUGH LACK OF MEANS AND THE REMOVAL OF LEGAL AID, WOULD OTHERWISE BE UNABLE TO OBTAIN SUCH ADVICE.
