Charitable objects
THE CHARITY'S OBJECTS ARE SPECIFICALLY RESTRICTED TO THE FOLLOWING: PROMOTION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT OF URBAN REGENERATION IN THE UK AND INTERNATIONALLY: 2.1 THE RELIEF OF POVERTY. 2.2 THE RELIEF OF UNEMPLOYMENT; 2.3 THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION, TRAINING OR RETRAINING, PARTICULARLY AMONG UNEMPLOYED PEOPLE AND PEOPLE ON LOW INCOMES. 2.4 THE PROVISION OF TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE, BUSINESS ADVICE OR CONSULTANCY IN ORDER TO PROVIDE TRAINING AND EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES FOR UNEMPLOYED PEOPLE IN CASES OF FINANCIAL OR OTHER CHARITABLE NEED THROUGH HELP IN: I) SETTING UP THEIR OWN BUSINESS; OR II) TO EXISTING SOCIAL ENTERPRISES AND BUSINESS. 2.5 THE CREATION OF TRAINING AND EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES BY THE PROVISION OF WORKSPACE, BUILDINGS, AND/OR LAND FOR USE ON FAVOURABLE TERMS; THE CHARITY SHALL BE NON-PARTY IN POLITICS AND NON-SECTARIAN IN RELIGION. THE CHARITY WILL MEET THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE EQUALITIES ACT 2010 OR ANY SUBSEQUENT RE-ENACTMENT AND WILL NOT DISCRIMINATE AGAINST STAFF, BENEFICIARIES, MEMBERS, VOLUNTEERS, TRUSTEES OR ANY OTHER PERSON ON THE GROUNDS OF AGE, DISABILITY, RACE, GENDER, GENDER REASSIGNMENT, MARRIAGE/CIVIL PARTNERSHIPS, PREGNANCY AND MATERNITY, SEXUAL ORIENTATION, RELIGION OR BELIEFS.
