TO PROVIDE FACILITIES FOR THE RECREATION AND LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION OF YOUNG PEOPLE IN UPMINSTER AND THE SURROUNDING AREA IN THE INTEREST OF SOCIAL WELFARE BY THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES AND TRAINING IN FOOTBALL SO AS TO DEVELOP THEIR PHYSICAL AND MENTAL CAPACITIES THAT THEY MAY GROW TO FULL MATURITY AS INDIVIDUALS AND MEMBERS OF SOCIETY AND THAT THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE MAY BE IMPROVED.
