TO FOSTER, STIMULATE AND PROMOTE THE INTERESTS, KNOWLEDGE, UNDERSTANDING AND APPRECIATION OF THE ARTS IN GENERAL AND DRAMATIC ART IN PARTICUALR, AMONG THE INHABITANTS OF THE BOROUGH OF MACCLESFIELD AND SURROUNDING AREAS WITHIN REASONABLE TRAVELLING DISTANCE THEREFROM.
