Charitable objects
The objects of the CIO are the prevention and relief of poverty and those in need by reason of age; physical or mental ill-health; disability; financial hardship; or other disadvantageous circumstance, by paying pensions, making grants or loans or otherwise assisting or relieving members or ex-members of the Society and the widowed and other dependents of deceased members of the Society.
