THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE: TO RELIEVE THE NEED OF MEDICAL PRACTITIONERS AND OTHERS IN THE MEDICAL PROFESSION WHO ARE SUFFERING OR WHO HAVE SUFFERED MENTAL HEALTH PROBLEMS OR OTHER DISTRESS FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC INCLUDING BUT NOT BY WAY OF LIMITATION THROUGH THE RAISING OF AWARENESS BY THE DISSEMINATION OF INFORMATION ABOUT MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES WITHIN THE MEDICAL PROFESSION AND TO HELP SUFFERERS TO OBTAIN TREATMENT AND SUPPORT IN SUCH WAYS AND IN SUCH PLACES AS THE TRUSTEES MAY FROM TIME TO TIME THINK FIT.
