1. TO CONSTRUCT, MAINTAIN AND OPERATE A REPLICA OF CAPTAIN COOK'S SHIP "ENDEAVOUR" AS A SHIP OF HISTORIC INTEREST AND TO PLACE THE SAME UPON PUBLIC DISPLAY FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE NATION AT LARGE. 2. TO INCREASE ATHE SUM OF PUBLIC KNOWLEDGE OF THE HISTORY AND THE EVOLUTION OF THE TECHNOLOGY OF SHIP BUILDING AND INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING AND DESIGN, BOTH MARINE AND NON-MARINE, AND TO PROMOTE THE STUDY OF INDUSTRIAL ARCHAELOGY.
