Charitable objects
A) FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, TO PROMOTE THE EFFICIENT AND EFFECTIVE USE OF RESOURCES FOR CHARITABLE PURPOSES BY CHARITIES AND VOLUNTARY ORGANISATIONS BY: I) PROVIDING TRAINING, DEVELOPMENT, CAPACITY BUILDING SERVICES AND SUPPORT; II) CONDUCTING AND PROMOTING RESEARCH, ALONG WITH PROMOTING CO-OPERATION, CO-ORDINATION AND INFORMATION EXCHANGE, III) LEADING, ENCOURAGING AND SUPPORTING INNOVATION; IV) SUCH OTHER MEANS AS THE TRUSTEES MAY DETERMINE B) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC CONCERNING THE FIELD OF INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND AID DELIVERY; ALSO, TO CONDUCT AND PROCURE RESEARCH CONCERNING THE SAME AND TO MAKE AVAILABLE THE USEFUL RESULTS THEREOF TO THE PUBLIC C) TO FURTHER SUCH OTHER PURPOSES WHICH ARE CHARITABLE UNDER THE LAWS OF ENGLAND AND WALES AS THE TRUSTEES FROM TIME TO TIME DETERMINE. FOR THE PURPOSE OF THIS CLAUSE, CHARITIES ARE ORGANISATIONS WHICH ARE ESTABLISHED FOR EXCLUSIVELY CHARITABLE PURPOSES IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE LAWS OF ENGLAND AND WALES. VOLUNTARY ORGANISATIONS ARE INDEPENDENT ORGANISATIONS WHICH ARE ESTABLISHED FOR PURPOSES THAT ADD VALUE TO THE COMMUNITY AS A WHOLE, OR A SIGNIFICANT SECTION OF THE COMMUNITY AND WHICH ARE NOT PERMITTED BY THEIR CONSTITUTION TO MAKE A PROFIT FOR PRIVATE DISTRIBUTION. VOLUNTARY ORGANISATIONS DO NOT INCLUDE LOCAL GOVERNMENT OR OTHER STATUTORY AUTHORITIES.
