THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE: TO PROVIDE HELP FOR FAMILIES WITH CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL NEEDS AND DISABILITIES RESIDING WITHIN DERBYSHIRE, NOTTINGHAMSHIRE, LEICESTERSHIRE AND EAST STAFFORDSHIRE INCLUDING THOSE WITHOUT DIAGNOSIS. BY: PROVIDING SUPPORT, TRAINING AND SIGNPOSTING DELIVERED THROUGH OUR ORGANISATION BY RELEVANT ORGANISATIONS AND PROFESSIONALS FOR EXAMPLE DELIVERING INFORMATIVE WORKSHOPS, TRAINING AND HOLISTIC THERAPY, PROVIDING A PLACE FOR PARENT CARERS TO NETWORK AND REDUCE SOCIAL ISOLATION. PROVIDING A SECURE CHAT AND INFORMATION PAGE USING SOCIAL MEDIA NETWORK. PROVIDING SAFE, INCLUSIVE ACTIVITIES FOR FAMILIES WITH SPECIAL NEEDS AND DISABILITIES, ENCOURAGING PLAY, INTERACTION AND NETWORKING WITH OTHERS IN A SIMILAR SITUATION. WORKING TOGETHER WITH EDUCATIONAL ESTABLISHMENTS WHO EDUCATE CHILDREN WITH SEND PROVIDING THEM WITH ADDITIONAL ACTIVITIES NOT ON THE NATIONAL CURRICULUM.
