THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE: 1. TO ADVANCE EDUCATION AMONGST AFGHAN COMMUNITIES IN AFGHANISTAN AND THE UK OR ANYWHERE ELSE IN THE WORLD. 2. TO RELIEVE POVERTY AMONG ORPHANS, VULNERABLE CHILDREN, WIDOWS AND POOR PEOPLE IN AFGHANISTAN AND AMONGST AFGHAN COMMUNITIES IN THE UK OR ANYWHERE ELSE IN THE WORLD BY PROVIDING SHELTER, FOOD, HEALTHCARE, EDUCATION AND TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES. 3. TO PREVENT FINANCIAL HARDSHIP IN AFGHANISTAN AND AMONGST AFGHAN COMMUNITIES IN THE UK OR ANYWHERE ELSE IN THE WORLD, BY PROVIDING OPPORTUNITIES TO ENABLE INDIVIDUALS TO GENERATE A SUSTAINABLE INCOME AND BE SELF-SUFFICIENT. 4. TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION AND TRAINING OF THOSE GRANTED REFUGEE STATUS AND THEIR DEPENDENTS IN NEED THEREOF SO AS TO ADVANCE THEM IN LIFE AND ASSIST THEM TO ADAPT WITHIN A NEW COMMUNITY.
