Activities - how the charity spends its money
The aim of the society is to promote the development and enjoyment of choral singing in West Cumbria. The society at present has only an adult choir, though young people 15/16 years of age would be welcome.Several concerts are given each year and opportunities are taken to use professional and semi-professional singers and musicians.

TO PROMOTE, IMPROVE, DEVELOP AND MAINTAIN PUBLIC EDUCATIONIN AND APPRECIATION OF THE ART AND SCIENCE OF CHORAL AND ORCHESTRAL MUSIC IN ALL ITS ASPECTS BY THE PRESENTATION OF PUBLIC CHORAL/ORCHESTRAL CONCERTS AND RECITALS AND BY SUCH OTHER WAYS AS THE SOCIETY THROUGH ITS COMMITTEE SHALL DETERMINE FROM TIME TO TIME.
