The University of the Third Age (U3A) is a network of local associations providing social, cultural and learning opportunities for retired and semi-retired people at minimal cost. There are over 1000 U3As, supported by a national organisation, the Third Age Trust, with over 375,000 members. Activities are run by and for members, who share their interests and skills.
