Charitable objects
TO ADVANCE EDUCATION IN THE SCIENCE STUDY AND PRACTICE OF HERBAL MEDICINE AND ALLIED DISCIPLINES IN PARTICULAR, BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY: (A) TO ESTABLISH AND MAINTAIN A SCHOOL KNOWN AS HEARTWOOD COLLEGE OF HERBAL MEDICINE FOR THE TRAINING AND TUITION OF STUDENTS IN MEDICAL HERBALISM AND GIVING BOTH LECTURES IN THEORETICAL ASPECTS AND DEMONSTRATIONS IN PRACTICAL TRAINING (B) TO PROVIDE SUPPORT AND TRAINING TO MEDICAL HERBALISTS IN FURTHERANCE OF THEIR CAREER (C) TO PROVIDE OR SUPPORT POST-GRADUATE COURSES IN MEDICAL HERBALISM (D) TO RESEARCH INTO MEDICAL HERBALISM FOR THE PURPOSES OF INVESTIGATING AND EVALUATING THE THERAPEUTIC CLAIMS OF HERBAL REMEDIES EXAMINING HERBAL CONSTITUENTS AND THEIR PHARMACOLOGICAL ACTION PREPARING CLINICAL TRIALS OF HERBAL REMEDIES AND PUBLISHING THE RESULTING INFORMATION TO HERBAL PRACTITIONERS AND THE PUBLIC (E) TO ESTABLISH SCHOLARSHIPS IN MEDICAL HERBAL RESEARCH AND TO SUPPORT ANY SUCH RESEARCH PROGRAMMES IN PLANT REMEDIES AND THEIR ACTION, AND (F) TO SUPPORT FINANCIALLY OR OTHERWISE ANY STUDENT OF MEDICAL HERBALISM OR QUALIFIED MEDICAL HERBALIST IN ANY ACTIVITY DESIGNED TO OR WITH THE EFFECT OF PROMOTING THE BENEFITS OF HERBAL MEDICINE WHETHER BY (BUT NOT LIMITED TO) THE PROVISION OF CLINICS SEMINARS LECTURES OR WORKSHOPS
