THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS THE RELIEF OF SICKNESS AND THE PRESERVATION AND PROTECTION OF GOOD HEALTH WITHIN THE COVENTRY & WARWICKSHIRE AREA BY THE PROVISION OF TRAINED FIRST RESPONSE VOLUNTEERS TO ATTEND MEDICAL EMERGENCIES AS DIRECTED BY WEST MIDLANDS AMBULANCE SERVICE (WMAS).
