THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE CHRISTIAN FAITH, FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC IN VARIOUS WAYS, INCLUDING, BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, THROUGH TRAINING CHURCH OFFICERS AND MINISTERS, PROMOTING THE TEACHING OF CHRISTIANITY, CARING FOR THE ELDERLY AND THE PROMOTION OF RACIAL HARMONY IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE CHURCH'S STATEMENT OF FAITH.
