THE PRIMARY OBJECT OF THE CIO IS TO ADVANCE THE CHRISTIAN FAITH ACCORDING TO THE 1689 BAPTIST CONFESSION OF FAITH IN THE BIRMINGHAM AREA FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC THROUGH THE HOLDING OF WORSHIP SERVICES, PRAYER MEETINGS, BIBLE STUDIES, PASTORAL COUNSELLING AND OPEN-AIR EVANGELISM TO ENLIGHTEN OTHERS ABOUT THE CHRISTIAN FAITH.
