THE OBJECTS OF THE CHARITY ('THE OBJECTS') ARE: SPECIFIED BY CHRISTOPHER JON MARTIN (CJM) IN HIS WILL AND ARE: (1) FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, FURTHERING EDUCATION AND ADVANCING CITIZENSHIP BY PROMOTING, SUPPORTING AND DEVELOPING PROJECTS RELATING TO THE HISTORY OF DOWNING STREET, THE OFFICE OF THE PRIME MINISTER AND THE OFFICE OF PRINCIPAL PRIVATE SECRETARY (2) FOR ADVANCING HEALTH AND EDUCATION IN RELATION TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF INDIVIDUALISED HEALTH CARE FOR THOSE WITH CANCER (INCLUDING DNA-BASED TESTS AND TREATMENT) THROUGH THE SPONSORSHIP OF PRIZES, DONATIONS TO MEDICAL AND RESEARCH CHARITIES, AND OTHER CHARITABLE MEANS, AND (3) FOR SUCH OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSES (ACCORDING TO THE LAW OF ENGLAND AND WALES) AS THE TRUSTEES SEE FIT FROM TIME TO TIME.
