THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO IS TO: ADVANCE EDUCATION AND UNDERSTANDING OF THE ISSUES AFFECTING AFRICAN ACADEMICS AND STUDENTS IN THE UK. THIS WILL BE DONE THROUGH: A. SERVING AS A HUB OF EXPERTISE ON A WIDE RANGE OF ISSUES AFFECTING AFRICAN ACADEMICS AND STUDENTS IN THE UK; B. RESEARCH AND ADDING TO COLLECTIVE KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING OF ISSUES AFFECTING AFRICAN ACADEMICS AND STUDENTS IN THE UK; C. THE DEVELOPMENT OF INDIVIDUAL CAPABILITIES, COMPETENCES, SKILLS AND UNDERSTANDING OF ISSUES AFFECTING AFRICAN ACADEMICS AND STUDENTS IN THE UK; D. TO PROMOTE, SUSTAIN AND INCREASE INDIVIDUAL AND COLLECTIVE KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING OF ISSUES AFFECTING AFRICAN ACADEMICS AND STUDENTS IN THE UK;
