Our activities include Offering a culturally appropriate space for women One to one support for women in crisis,Female Genital Survivor's group therapy. Volunteering and retail experience at the Furniture Mill,training for communities and professionals to become more culturally competent,supporting women to get back into work through job preparedness sessions and one to one enterprenual skills.

Charitable expenditure
Some charities generate all, or a substantial part, of their income from investments which may have been donated to the charity as endowment or set aside by the charity from its own resources in the past. Such investments usually take the form of stocks and shares but may include other assets, such as property, that are capable of generating income and/or capital growth.
In managing their spending and investments charities need to strike a balance between the needs of future and current beneficiaries. They also need to take account of spending commitments that may stretch over a number of future years. To do this, charities will normally adopt an investment strategy designed to generate both income and capital growth. To maximise returns trustees may commit to investment strategies for several years.
Investments can experience large swings in value so trustees may, in a particular year, decide to realise and spend part of their charity’s capital or to invest part of its income.

Charitable objects
1) TO PROMOTE SOCIAL INCLUSION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT BY WORKING WITH WOMEN AND THEIR FAMILIES IN AND AROUND GREATER MANCHESTER WHO ARE SOCIALLY EXCLUDED ON THE GROUNDS OF THEIR ETHNIC ORIGIN, RELIGION, BELIEF OF CREED TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF SUCH PEOPLE AND ASSIST THEM TO INTEGRATE INTO SOCIETY, IN PARTICULAR BY PROVIDING WORKSHOPS, ONE-TO-ONE SUPPORT AND ADVICE. 2) THE RELIEF OF FINANCIAL HARDSHIP AMONGST PEOPLE IN GREATER MANCHESTER IN PARTICULAR BY THE PROVISION OF VOUCHERS FOR EMERGENCY FOOD, ESSENTIAL TOILETRIES AND HOUSEHOLD ITEMS TO INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES IN NEED. FOR THE PURPOSE OF THIS CLAUSE ‘SOCIALLY EXCLUDED’ MEANS BEING EXCLUDED FROM SOCIETY, OR PARTS OF SOCIETY, AS A RESULT OF BEING A MEMBER OF A SOCIALLY AND ECONOMICALLY DEPRIVED COMMUNITY.
